The award-winning Clairault 2007 Chardonnay won gold at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show 2008, Silver at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show 2008 as well as a bronze medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2008.

A blend of eight different clones of chardonnay, this wine delivers greater fruit complexity and balance. Picked in the early morning and pressed immediately at cool temperatures to retain freshness and vibrancy, it was blended, fined, filtered and bottled in February 2008. Comes in a box of 12 x 750ml bottles.

With strong fruit aromas of honey dew melon, pineapple and green pear on a background of quality French oak, this chardonnay has a subtle vanillin sweetness. The palate shows great balance and minimal wood flavours.

All Clairault wines are hand crafted and made from 100% Estate grown fruit from Margaret River. Clairault is rated the most successful WA brand in the UK 2008 Decanter Wine Awards and won the Most Outstanding Wine Brand in the Nov 2008 WA Wine Industry Awards.
