Hahndorf Hill 2007 Shiraz is rated 89 points by wine expert James Halliday and won a Gold Medal at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show 2007, Silver Medal at the Small Vignerons Awards 2007 and Bronze Medal at the London International Wine Challenge 2007.

Hahndorf Hill Winery is a micro-boutique producer in the Adelaide Hills, rated 3 1/2 stars in the 2009 James Halliday Wine Companion. This cool-climate Shiraz wine represents a mix of Old and New World styles with intense blackcurrant, plum and raspberry flavours. Ultra-smooth on the palate, this fine wine has a powerful structure that will carry it for at least another 10 years.Gently aged in a predominance of French oak barriques for 16 months, then was bottle-aged for a further 14 months in cool, underground cellars.
