Barking Owl 2009 Chardonnay from Millbrook Winery WA is a rising star, providing excellent value, being rated 4 stars by Winestate magazine. Medium to full-bodied, this wine displays a rich melon and stone fruit intensity that is aptly supported by spicy, vanillin oak leading to a dry finish. The 2009 Chardonnay was aged in seasoned French oak for approximately three months to give the wine substantial structure and flavour. Barking Owl is rated 4 1/2 stars by wine expert James Halliday. Enjoy now or cellar for three years. The name is derived from the Barking Owls which live in the forests surrounding the vineyard and on a moonlit night, can be seen perched at the end of the vineyard rows. Case of 12 x 750ml bottles
