Pemberton

Pemberton is quickly becoming one of the premium wine producing regions in Western Australia becoming much sought after as the region is becoming internationally recognised for its production of classic cool climate wines. Covering the towns of Pemberton and Northcliffe, the region is home to many picturesque vineyards that adjoin Karris Forest. It combines southern latitude with high altitude and with a relatively cool climate it is ideal for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes and suited to the production of refined Bordeaux-style wines.

Other grape varieties in the region are Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Semillon and Shiraz. Pemberton is one of the few regions within Australia that offers fantastic potential for Merlot and is growing in its range of quality wines generating worldwide demand.
