The golden rule on the Lucien Albrecht Estate is the unrelenting respect the grape and its creation of sparkling wines. The grapes are harvested by hand, the whole grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press, the juice is settled statically and meticulous control of fermentation temperatures produces the unrivalled Lucien Albrecht wine. The cellar dates back from 1772 and houses large oak barrels that are over one hundred years old. The vines are grown with meticulous closely supervised at every stage, from the vine to the bottling of the wines producing a superb wine that is a true marvel to its remarkable history.
